Copying is preferential attachment: a work already standing in many exemplars is proportionally likelier to be copied again, because curriculum, visibility, and exemplar availability all compound. The mechanism knows nothing of language, script, or support, so it should print the same top-heavy funnel on Sumerian school literature of the Old Babylonian period (20th–17th centuries BCE), Greek literary papyri from Egypt (3rd century BCE–7th century CE), and Byzantine book epigrams (10th–15th centuries CE): a small head of super-copied works carrying the majority of all physical witnesses, in the same proportion, on clay, papyrus, and parchment.

Top-heavy witness distributions are established per corpus: the dominance of a small head of super-copied works among Greek literary papyri (Homer above all) is a commonplace of quantitative papyrology and is tabulated for Oxyrhynchus in Johnson 2004; the Old Babylonian curricular core concentrating Sumerian literary witnesses on a small set of compositions is established in curriculum studies (Tinney 1999); and survival-demography models of manuscript traditions with compounding copy-advantage are in print (Cisne 2005). What is not located is any cross-support census putting CDLI composites, DCLP works, and DBBE epigram types on a single top-decile-share axis with a 20-point invariance band; DBBE's type/occurrence structure in particular has, to my knowledge, no published concentration census. The 50% floor is plausible but not guaranteed for DBBE, where hapax types are abundant. Verdict: adjacent - mechanism and per-corpus skew established, the pinned three-corpus census has not been run as pinned.

Results: top-decile shares CDLI 66.32%, DCLP 62.74%, DBBE 55.66%; all three corpora meet the guards (>= 300 works, >= 1,500 assigned records); spread = 10.66pp. REGISTERED PARTITION: all three qualifying, every share >= 50%, spread <= 20pp -> SUPPORTED.

Dataset: Three corpora, one statistic, one blind run: CDLI Old Babylonian Sumerian literary composites (391 works, 4,059 witness records from the advanced-search CSV export matching the engine's own count; 443 composite root-records correctly excluded; 18.61% unassigned excluded); DCLP via a sparse clone of papyri/idp.data at commit 64be870 (2,091 works with Trismegistos authorwork identity, 10,853 assigned witness records, 46.2% honestly unassigned - genuine scholarly non-identification, 0 parse errors); DBBE types/occurrences via its search_api (5,224 types, 13,084 type-linked occurrence records; the exact unassigned rate bounded-not-fabricated after a server-side pagination bug was politely abandoned).
